Bible Camp "mini-bookshop" Sample display
Kids learn so many imprtant things about faith and God's love at summer camps! But how can we keep that learning going all year? And wouldn't it be amazing if they could spread that good news in their families and communities? One of the ways this can happen is through good Christian books they take home with them.
Your Bible camp can have a mini-bookshop of Christian books this summer! Your mini-bookshop includes good products like:
- cheap books, stickers and activities kids can buy with their tuck money
- kids devotionals to get them in the habit of reading God's word every day
- great kid's novels for quiet reading and entertainment
- Kid's Bibles for use at camp and at home
-great books for parents and staff too!
Your Living Books "mini-bookshop" is about $1000 worth of stock. It comes with a display rack and everything you need to sell books at your camp this summer. And, it works as a fundraiser too! The camp earns 20% on all sales.
Here's how it works:
Delivery: Your mini-bookshop and display unit is delivered to your camp at the beginning of the season. We pre-select the books you will need the most. All product is invoiced to the camp at 20% discount. Living Books shares the weight of set-up cost with you by asking you to pay only half of this invoice up front. The remainder of the invoice, minus any returns, will be due at the end of the season.
Summer: All product comes with prices marked for you to sell over the season. Sell as much as you can, especially on the days when parents are there! You are welcome to make special requests throughout the summer, and let us know if you are running low of anything, and we can stock you up with more books. As the whole display has already been invoiced to you, you are also free to give away product at your own discretion and your own cost.
Closing: We can't get to all the camps in the short window of closing week, so we ask that your camp director, or any assigned staff member, take the remaining books and the display rack back with them. We will meet this person in their hometown, write the credit invoice and pick up any remaining books. The camp then pays the remaining balance from the installation invoice. Over the course of the season you pay only for the books you have sold (or given away).
With a Living Books "mini-bookshop" your camp can help get good Christian resources into the homes of your campers, while earning a little extra support for your ministry. Please contact us before the beginning of your camping season!
